In the 1950s, an iconic designer and a tradtional Danish hardware manufacturer came together to form a fascinating partnership, through a passion for true handcraft and both striving towards perfection.

The hardware manufacturer saw an opportunity for future co-operation and soon the first design Carl F lever handle came into being namely the Arne Jacobsen or AJ lever handle.

For Carlf F this meeting constituted the beginning of an iconic collection of beautifully designed lever handles - Collection of IKONS.

All made between 1950 and today by strong creative forces within design and architecture. The collection combines function and beauty and can be found in many architecturally acclaimed buildings around the world. Each lever handle is unique and based on a wide spectrum of design traditions, with handles by Henning Larsen, Jean Nouvel, Onen and Arstiderne Architects.

In 2010 this range was taken over by dline AS who with their own range of Knud Holscher dline handles seek to continue the legacy left by Carl F.
